The evening of 2026-05-04 was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
Topic of the meeting was demolition of some buildings at 24 Norton Street. The property that had Jimmy’s garage, for those of you familiar with that. For whatever it’s worth, the garage itself is currently being used by Mathstone for storing their lawn maintenance equipment and similar. So that building gets to remain a while longer.
While the approval was solely for the demolition, the eventually plan is to put in another apartment building or two. Details to be ironed out first. Including eventually Board approval before the construction starts. Whenever that ends up being.
Besides that, there was some general talk about upcoming applications. Nothing on the Agenda yet, but before too long… Three more Mathstone projects. The future urgent care facility. All of Copperfield. Plus whatever else comes along. Perhaps this will be the last short and simple Zoning Board meeting for a while. Or perhaps not, time will tell.
