In the end, the budget was approved. Main increase drivers seemed to be impact of administrator retiring and hiring fire fighters during the day. And as was pointed out previously, the tax levy increase is 9.6%. Continue reading

The public portion of the meeting got off to a late start, as the Board was in Executive Session. They are usually pretty good about predicting how long those will take, but predictions aren’t perfect.
