Tonight (2017-11-13) was a meeting of the Mendon Town Board.
The most important item on the agenda was likely the approval of next years budget. While it will almost certainly be adjusted and tweaked as the year goes by, the town has a budget for going into next year. Continue reading
Today (2017-11-07) there is a General Election in New York State. For those who live in Honeoye Falls, the polling station is the Mendon Community Center, between 6AM and 9PM. Continue reading

The meeting was a bit slow to get started. It turns out there were some last minute changes and additional information that needed to be dealt with. One application withdrew (NOTMI/Mathstone storage units), and another changed some details (12 N Main). Continue reading
This afternoon (2017-11-02) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Planning Board.
While the meeting was publicized as a Workshop, it didn’t feel much different then a regular meeting. Just a regular meeting on a different day, at a different time, where there was only one applicant. Continue reading

Held at the High School Auditorium, in anticipation of a large audience. Turns out attendance was low enough that we could have stayed at the village office. Still, better to be prepared and not need the space, then have to turn people away due to overcrowding. Continue reading

Tonight (2017-10-23) was the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board‘s regularly scheduled meeting night. However, they did not meet. As they do not meet if there are no items for them to discuss, presumably that is what happened tonight. This happens often enough to come as no surprise.
Tonight (2017-10-16) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Board of Trustees.
There was also a meeting of the Mendon Town Board. Looks like Columbus Day last week causes meeting shuffling. As I could only be in one place at a time (still working on that trick), I chose the Village meeting. Continue reading
