Tonight (2017-08-14) was a meeting of the Mendon Town Board.
Showed up a bit early, which was good as also early was Mike Graves, whose children I had gone to school with. Gave us an opportunity to chat and catch up. Fair sized number of agenda items, moderately long discussions, but a relatively straightforward meeting. Mostly focused on preparation for a new school year. Yes kids, school is coming for you again. Continue reading

As sometimes happens, Agenda’s did not appear to be available. Which made the topics of discussion a surprise. Two of them where quick and pretty straightforward, the third was just sad. Continue reading
Tonight (2017-07-24) was the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board‘s regularly scheduled meeting night. However, they did not meet. As they do not meet if there are no items for them to discuss, presumably that is what happened tonight. This happens often enough to come as no surprise.
Tonight (2017-07-17) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Board of Trustees.
Also tonight was a Mendon Town Board meeting, but as I can only be in one place at a time, I went to the Village meeting. Mostly because they were on schedule and hadn’t skipped a week. Continue reading

Tonight (2017-07-10) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Planning Board.
The meeting was relatively long, both in number of items on the agenda (7) and time taken (~2 hours). Two items caused most of the discussion, the rest were pretty straightforward. The quick ones were all approved, longer ones were deferred to future meetings. Despite how that sounds, I don’t think there was a pattern. Continue reading
Tonight (2017-06-27) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Board of Education (BoE).
Unfortunately, Gene (Superintendent) was out sick tonight. I don’t know exactly what is going on, and if I did it’s not really my place to announce it. He’ll share details if/when he wants. Until then I can but pray he recovers from whatever is troubling him. Continue reading
Tonight (2017-06-26) was a special meeting of the Mendon Town Board. There was also a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
As the Town opted to hold a ‘special’ meeting, I attended two meetings tonight. Or at least parts of two meetings, as I left before the Town finished. They started at 7, whereas the Village Zoning started at 7:30. Continue reading
