Tonight (2018-06-12) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Board of Education (BoE).
The most interesting part of the meeting wasn’t really part of the meeting. It was that only 5 of 9 board members were in attendance. Reasons for the others absence wasn’t noted, but it was expected. Amusing in that actions required all those in attendance to agree on them. Continue reading

As one of my other hats is that of a Zoning Board member, three actions tonight were of particular interest. Two proposed code changes, which will be going to a public hearing (July 16th), and an additional requirement for being on the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA). Continue reading

The only applicant was Miller Lanes, who were looking to add some outdoor seating for the restaurant side of the business. They mostly got approval in the end, but the discussion to get there was amusing at times. Continue reading

Tonight (2018-05-21) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Board of Trustees.
This was the first Trustee meeting since Charlie (Code Enforcement Officer, among other titles) has left us. His absence was felt. While there is always a degree of uncertainty on this side of the veil, I hope he is in a better place now. Continue reading
