Again no Planning Board, so I was able to Observe the Library Trustees instead. Not complaining, I am enjoying the opportunity get a ‘feel’ for how this Board works. Continue reading
Tonight (2018-02-28) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Steering Committee (or something like that).
As this was a workshop/committee meeting, it wasn’t announced through the normal channels. But by paying attention at public meetings I knew when/where it would happen. And as expected, when I showed up and sat quietly in a corner, no one asked me to leave. Continue reading
Tonight (2018-02-27) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Board of Education (BoE), and before that the Program Budget Advisory Council (PBAC).

Tonight (2018-02-26) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
Per the agenda, there were three variances. But as all three involved the same applicant, for the same object (a sign), they were effectively treated as one. Continue reading
Tonight (2018-02-20) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Board of Trustees.
Amusingly enough, there was a sign on the Village Office door today (and yesterday) indicating the meeting had been ‘rescheduled’ for tonight. Amusing because I remember when they approved this years meeting schedule and how this meeting (and last months) were deliberately set to be on Tuesdays instead of Mondays. Continue reading

There was also a School Board of Education meeting, but from the agenda, that was going to be only executive session. As I would have been unable to observe the session, I went to the Planning Board meeting held on an unusual day of the week (for them). Continue reading
Tonight (2018-02-12) was a meeting of the Mendon Town Board.
Sheldon (Town Attorney) was absent tonight. Primarily of note in that he wasn’t able to discourage questions during comment time. Which I took advantage of to get some clarification. Continue reading

By pattern, tonight should have been a Village Planning Board meeting. But apparently they did not have a meeting tonight, and instead are having one next Tuesday. I’m sure there is a good story behind that. Regardless, it did create and opening so I was able to go to the Trustee’s meeting tonight. Continue reading
