Last I observed this group was in May. Three potential meetings (June, July, August) since then. I know at least one (and I think two) of those were canceled due to no applicants. And I missed one due to a scheduling conflict. Continue reading
Tonight (2021-08-24) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Board of Education (BoE).
The big topic of the evening was mask mandates. This drew a crowd, which put the meeting in the cafeteria. It was also the first time I had seen the various support staff in person since… March of 2020? Whenever it was, it was a while ago. And the PTA had people there looking to increase membership. Meeting was back in the Library, it had been a while since the last time I was there for one of these. Zoom is nice, and definitely has it’s uses. But nothing is quiet the same as being there in person. Continue reading

Tonight (2021-07-19) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Board of Trustees.
While there was plenty of discussion on various items, what stood out the most to me was that Stan (Deputy Mayor) ran the meeting. Rick (Mayor) couldn’t make the start of the meeting, so joined in when he could. Life happens, we all make the best of it. Continue reading
