Honeoye Falls-Lima Election Pending 2022-05-17

      This years school vote is in four parts. There will be a budget for next year, purchase of school buses, capitol reserves, and three positions on the school board. The vote itself will be happening Tuesday May 17, 2022 in the Board of Education room (room 129), which is across the hall from the B-Gym. Nearest doors are off Church Street. Same location as last year.

Mendon Town Board 2022-05-09

      The evening of 2022-05-09 was a meeting of the Mendon Town Board.

      Despite not being there, Jim Merzke might have been the highlight of the meeting. The former Town Clerk will be acting Deputy Supervisor and Deputy Clerk at various times in the next month or so. Summer is here, people are going on vacation. Honeoye Falls-Lima Budget Hearing 2022-05-03

      The evening of 2022-05-03 was the Public Budget Hearing and Meet the Candidates event for the Honeoye Falls-Lima School District, all wrapped in a full fledged Board of Education meeting.

Honeoye Falls Annual Meeting 2022-04-04

      The evening of 2022-04-04 was the Honeoye Falls Annual Meeting, and before that the Public Hearing for next years Budget.

      The budget was approved, and with it a 1.47% increase in the local levy. As this is below the property tax cap, the law allowing the Village to override that limit had to be repealed. All part of the standard budget dance at this point. Continue reading →
