Honeoye Falls Village Board 2018-06-18

Tonight (2018-06-18) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Board of Trustees.

While there were a number of items on the agenda, and the meeting did take a fair amount of time, there wasn’t much of interest. Mostly formalities or potential future events.

Although, even if I didn’t find much of interest, there were some items that other people might consider such. For example, Nikki had her one-year evaluation, during which she was called “wonderful”. I suspect she will be glad to hear that.

‘Good Vibes Flowing‘ will be happening in Harry Allen park, most Tuesday nights this summer. Again, I suspect others will care about this more then I. Not a fan of music events, and even if I was, I have other plans for most of those nights. Still, I hope it goes well for those who do attend.

A new “Special Event Permit” was approved. Was unclear to me if this only applies to ‘events’ on Village owned land (ie parks) or if this was for any ‘special event’ within the village. The examples discussed were all for events in Harry Allen park. Either way, the form will likely be on the Village’s website soon. Might be worth looking at if you are planning any events of a type the Village might want to regulate.

As the Village’s budget year does not match the calendar year, this month was ‘final abstract’ and other year end events. Important to do, and do right, but not particularly flashy.

Likewise, a number of (potential?) future projects were discussed. Pinebrooke Apartments is looking at phase 2, Wolfberger (sp?) Park is looking at building many houses, sewer expansion one house into Lima (Town, not Village) is continuing to be looked at, etc. No actions taken tonight, but talk about potential plans was had.

And those are my Observations From Audience Land for the June 18, 2018 meeting of the Honeoye Falls Board of Trustees.

Digital version of Agenda was not available anywhere I could find. Perhaps it will be on the Village’s website in the future, perhaps not…
