By pattern, tonight should have been the Village of Honeoye Falls Board of Trustee meeting. Instead, they have rescheduled for tomorrow, citing Martin Luther King Jr Day as a reason.
I won’t be at tomorrow’s meeting, as I’ll be at another meeting. Haven’t figured out how to be in multiple places at the same time yet. One of these days…
Until then, I (like the rest of us) have to decide what activity to spend my time on. And in doing so, NOT do the infinite other possibilities. Still, making the best of the situations we find ourselves is part of life.
So instead of a meeting to Observe (and write about), I spend my evening doing other things. For example, I’m spending part of a holiday created to remember a guy that spoke about ignoring the outside and looking at the inside, to write about how we focus on the outside while pretending to ignore it. Just a little bit ironic there.
Also ironic that the famous speech is still copyrighted, so I had to find a source outside America to read it. Thankfully Canadian law is a little less crazy on this topic.
