The evening of 2022-03-29 was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Board of Education (BoE).
The meeting itself was so short and straightforward to not even be worth mentioning. The location and timing of the meeting was more interesting.
Due to the Capitol Project tour of Manor school happening at 7PM, this meeting was held in the Manor art room at 6:30PM. While the room’s acoustics aren’t the best (or maybe my choice in seats was the problem), that it is effectively an art gallery makes up for it. Reminds me Cougar Creations isn’t that far away.
Only agenda item that stood out to me was noted by it’s absence: there was no ‘Public Comment’. Having been to a number of short meetings over the years, this is the first time I can recall that item being removed from the agenda. If you cared enough to show up, they cared enough to listen.
On the plus side, didn’t have to listen to the legalize about how to comment. That really should be streamlined, at least when there isn’t a crowd of people.
