The evening of 2022-03-07 was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
The two applications were reasonable straightforward and both received approval. The word of the meeting was ‘cognizant‘.
The first one was for an equipment barn at Pinebrooke Apartments. I was pretty sure they already had a structure for this function in the original plan. I wonder if they outgrew it, didn’t plan well enough, or I misremember. In any case, there will also be a playground and dog park. Sounds like the developer is in no hurry, but wants to have all the approvals lined up in advance. Planning ahead, good to do.
The second application was for Micropen to expand their business on Papermill. Apparently they are seeing enough growth in the medical market to justify adding more space. Almost sounded like the biggest concern was sufficient screening on the school side of the property. They are expecting to be all done and shipping product by the end of the year.
As an amusing aside, the lead presenter was the same one as from Wolfsberger Park. So he was familiar to the Board. He also brought friends, outnumbering the Board. Which isn’t a bad thing, it shows the people involved and that they are taking it seriously enough to show up.
And those are my Observations From Audience Land for the March 7, 2022 meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
