Tonight (2020-10-05) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
While this wasn’t quiet the shortest meeting I have attended, I think it was the simplest. The applicant didn’t show up, so the Board chatted for a bit before calling it a night.
The meeting was supposed to be for a concept review. So no action would have been taken, but there would have been discussion about the plan and it’s various details. I didn’t hear who the applicant was, or what the plan was for. Presumably they will try again another time.
Despite no applicant tonight, there was some discussion about the next meeting. The Wolfsburger park project is continuing along, and that should be the focus of the 11/2 meeting. As a crowd is expected, they are looking at various options for location. So if you want to attend, make sure to confirm the location before showing up. From discussion, I would expect the High School Cafeteria, but who knows.
And on the topic of location, this meeting was back in the regular office meeting room. Was a bit of a tight fit with everyone spread out as they were, but it worked. Hopefully we can toss these anti-social habits aside and continue to have meetings at the office. Not that the community center or school are bad places, but there is something to be said for meeting in the organizations ‘home’ territory.
