Tonight (2019-09-30) was a meeting of the Mendon Town Board.
The portion of the meeting before the executives session was rather quick and straightforward. The agenda can be viewed online by anyone that cares (until the next one replaces it, shortly before the next meeting).
Only agenda topic that seems worth commenting on is that the 2020 Tentative Budget is now the Preliminary Budget, with a public hearing scheduled for October 21 (ie next meeting). Should be available online in the next few days, should you want to ready it.
Besides that, I only have comments on people, not the meeting proper. Which is to say, there was a surprisingly large crowd for such a short meeting. I can only assume they were there for the executive session, which had a topic of “Mendon Green Litigation”. As they also left the meeting room when I did, but hung around in the foyer, presumably they expected something to happen.
Or I could be making wild speculation that are completely without merit. Time will tell.
