Tonight (2019-05-06) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
Four items on the agenda, and the outcome was as I would have expected. Three approvals and one continued denial.
Dennis owns two neighboring properties and was moving the lot line a few feet. This puts some arborvitae’s firmly on the house side of the line. The sort of thing that doesn’t matter so long as he owns both pieces, but if he ever sold it would. Maybe that’s in the plan, maybe he’s looking long term. Either way, pretty straightforward.
Two garages, for two different property owners, were approved. Most interesting part is that one of them was late, so the agenda got shuffled. All worked out in the end, by the time the next item was finished the late applicant was there.
Which brought us back to Muffy again. As expected, the Village continues the stance her subdivision will have a negative impact on the environment (ie neighborhood), so it is denied. I find her persistence commendable. Not really much more I can say on this, just wish her well in her efforts.
And those are my Observations From Audience Land for the May 6, 2019 meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
