The evening of 2025-01-28 was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Board of Education (BoE), and Program Budget Advisory Council (PBAC).
Alas, I had a scheduling conflict and was unable to observe this meeting. Thankfully, the meeting was recording and is available for viewing. Having done that…
Following up on last meetings discussion, the Board is looking for people interested in filling the current Board vacancy. If I understood it right, the appointment would only be until the next election. In any case, if you are interested, there is a press release with details on the schools website. Basically, email Christina (District Clerk) that you are interested, before February 14.
As an aside, the presentation videos don’t come through well in the meeting recording. But they are available independently on the 2025-26 budget page.
Biggest standout in the presentations was Brian’s conversation with the helmets. Not the first year he’s done this, but it is amusing. There is definitely a balance between entertaining and informative. Not sure if he really hits it, but he makes a good the attempt.
