The evening of 2024-06-03 was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
First application was for an addition, which was approved. Sounded like it was 164 Cheese Factory, but either way, it was one of those houses on the north side of the Village. Which are almost in a different world then the rest of the Village. As it was put, one of the few properties in the Village on a septic system. Regardless, seems to be a flurry of activity in that area of late.
Second application was for Wolfsberger park phase 3 (and final). By the sounds of it, they already have approval for phase 2, but have done little (if any) construction on that. I got the impression there are logistical issues, which will play out better if they do parts of phase 3 first. So that’s what they got, approval for phase 3.
Also sounds like they need to do some work on the sewer before more construction occurs. I didn’t hear timing, but they talked about replacing a section of the old sewer line so it is big enough for this increase in capacity. The way they talked about it has me thinking it will be along the road, so might be noticeable to the public. Or not, we’ll see in due time.
All in all, a pair of rather straightforward approvals. The one because it was simple enough, and the other because the project has been covered in sufficient detail previously.
And those are my Observations From Audience Land for the June 03, 2024 meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
Alas, Agenda was not available anywhere I could find. Perhaps it will be on the Village’s website in the future, perhaps not…
