The evening of 2023-02-27 was a workshop for the Honeoye Falls Board of Trustees.
Topic of discussion was the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Long story short, the Village is looking at a significant overhaul in the not to distant future. While everything is working well enough today, the plant is showing it’s age.
Not at capacity yet, but projections show that not too far out. Expected project cost is in the ~$7 million ballpark. There was also talk about possible grants, and how to best go about getting them.
At the end of the day, I think we all want the toilet to take the waste away when we flush it. Prudent for the Village to make sure they have the ability to handle what we send their way.
