The evening of 2022-11-07 was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
Primary item was approving demolition of the dilapidated house at 236 Monroe St.
While the property owner is requesting this action, David (Code Enforcement) said he would have considered taking action on safety grounds alone. While it’s always a shame to see an old house being destroyed, unfortunately too many years of neglect can sometimes make such action necessary.
After that approval, there was talk about cannabis laws and their potential impact on the Village. Nothing concrete, more of a ‘things to ponder for a future reference’.
