Honeoye Falls Zoning Board 2022-09-06

The evening of 2022-09-06 was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.

Topic of the meeting was increasing the builder imposed height restriction for Wolfsberger park, from 25 feet to 35. The change was approved.

To be clear, this is still in compliance with Village Zoning Code. The 25 foot limit was self imposed by the previous builder. But as that has changed, the current builder wanted addition height to gain additional flexibility. At least for some of the houses. It sounds like this only applies to the ‘patio homes’, of which there are 27.

Replacing the builder may be why this took a year to come back to the Board. Or maybe that sort of delay is standard in construction projects of this scale. Outside of my expertise, so I can but speculate.

Minutes were also approved, from the May meeting. Which highlights the pattern of Zoning Boards. There are busy times, and there are months of no activity. At least none requiring the Zoning Board.

And those are my Observations From Audience Land for the September 6, 2022 meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
