Honeoye Falls Village Board 2022-07-18

The evening of 2022-07-18 was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Board of Trustees.

Another rather straightforward meeting, for the most part. But still a number of items of note.

The most significant one is that Shari Stottler is leaving the Board, as she is leaving the Village. The flip side of her husband leaving the School Board, as they are off to a new house together (being married does tend to have that effect). Fond remarks were said, and she will be missed. To commemorate a group picture was taken, likely to be shared at some point.

The new Ambulance Supervisor was supposed to introduce himself at this meeting. Alas, he was on a call. Good to know the position is filled, even if it’s unfortunate that the ambulance is being kept that busy.

The Good Vibes concert series continues. By all accounts, it is being well attended. If you’ve got a Tuesday evening free, perhaps you too will find time to listen to the music.

The audible crosswalk signals were recently replaced. I had noticed them being louder, which tends to happen after work is done on them. For whatever reason, it takes some time to get the volume adjusted properly. In any case, should be about right now. And if not, by all means inform the Village.

A draft of the Village’s newsletter was being reviewed by the Board. It sounds like, assuming they find nothing in need of correction, it will be off to the printers tomorrow. If I heard right, we might have this newsletter in our mailboxes in a week or two.

And those are my Observations From Audience Land for the July 18, 2022 meeting of the Honeoye Falls Board of Trustees.
