Honeoye Falls Zoning Board 2021-10-04

Tonight (2021-10-04) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.

There was one application and a few discussion points.

The application was rather straightforward. The Booths wanted to build a garage/barn, to store stuff. Not much to say, they got approval.

Next up was a discussion on the signage for the Wolfsberger development. Not something requiring Board approval/denial, but Dave (Code Enforcement Officer) was looking for their thoughts on the topic. Long story short, they think the suggested sign works well. About the only concern was if this sign were to become too permanent. It would look bad if it was still advertising ‘available in 2022’, when 2025 rolls around.

The other discussion was on cannabis. Again, long story short, this Board saw no reason to suggest the Village Board opt-out of the state’s cannabis plan. Not something this Board could approve/deny, but Rick (Mayor) was looking for their feedback. By the sounds of it, the state has pushed the dates back on when anything would be happening multiple times now. So too early for any ‘coming soon’ signs.

And those are my Observations From Audience Land for the October 4, 2021 meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
