Tonight (2020-05-11) was a meeting of the Mendon Town Board.
Like with the previous Town Board meeting, I was assisting with managing this Zoom meeting. So I was more part of the meeting, then in the audience. As such, I feel it is inappropriate to share significant observations here. Don’t want to have an apparent conflict of interests.
Having said that, there was discussion about the reopening of the Town Office and Mendon Public Library. No solid dates were declared, but it sounds like the Office is aiming to open in some regards on/near June 1, while the Library is aiming for on/near May 18. As far as I’m concerned, the sooner the better. For all the offices and businesses, not to mention people in their homes.
And those are my Observations From Audience Land (such as they are) for the May 11, 2020 meeting of the Mendon Town Board.
