Today (2019-05-21) there is an Election for the Honeoye Falls-Lima School District. District residents may vote at the Board of Education room 129. Different location then past years, due to construction. The Board of Education room can be found on the west side of the High School, nearest doors are off Church Street. Election time remains 6AM and 9PM.
The 2018-2019 School Budget of $50,699,032 is up for a vote.
As is a proposal to spend up to $574,000 on school buses.
Finally, three (3) seats on the Board of Education are up as well. Four candidates are attempting to fill those seats: David Francis, Stephanie Templeton, Kelli Eberle, and Gary Stottler.
Assuming you care about how children are taught, take the time to read up on the budget information and then go vote. Might want to pickup chicken while you are there, and enjoy the artwork in the B gym.
