It appears that this morning (2018-08-14) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Board of Education (BoE), NOT tonight. As I was not expecting this time, I was not in the Audience
On the one hand, the schools calendar, the agenda on Board Docs, and the years meeting dates all said 7AM.
On the other hand, this is the first ‘real’ meeting I can recall occurring at that time. I assumed, incorrectly, that 7AM was a typo and it should have been 7PM.
While there is a morning meeting most years, the public portion of that usually lasts about 5 minutes. That meeting looks to have taken place July 24, 2018, the same day as the board retreat.
This mornings meeting looked to be normal sized, so I was surprised it didn’t occur at the normal time. Considering motions aren’t noted in Board Docs, I wonder if Rhonda (Board Clerk) was there.
While it would have been nice to hear Gene’s (Superintendent) opening day plans, there wasn’t much else of note on the agenda. Still, I will have to ask why the time change occurred.
And thus I have no Observations From Audience Land for the August 14, 2018 meeting of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Board of Education.
