Tonight (2017-12-28) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
The meeting itself was pretty straightforward. Ryan (of Mathstone/NOTMI) requested, and received, special exception use for a mini storage at the corner of Norton and High street.
This should be all the Zoning board needs to be involved in this project. Planning board will need to go through the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) process before they can approve the site plan. That should probably finish up in March, but delays are not unheard of. Anyone interested still has time to show up at a Planning board meeting (usually first Monday of the month), but that time will run out before too long.
Oddly enough, the most interesting part of the meeting was what didn’t happen. The ‘new’ owner of the ‘old’ Oppedisano’s Bootery building was scheduled to request approval for apartments. Turns out they had some sort of family crisis that prevented them from filing paperwork in time. So they will be before this board next month. In the meantime, I hope all is well with their family. This time of year is crazy enough without having to juggle disasters too.
And those are my Observations From Audience Land for the December 28, 2017 meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
