Tonight (2017-08-28) was a meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
Not a whole lot to say about the meeting. Two variances requested, two variances granted.
The McGory’s on Peer street get to have their garage addition closer to the property line then the code permits. And the Piedici’s on Ontario street get to have their fence a little bit higher.
Most interesting part of the meeting was probably the idea to grant a six (6) foot fence variance instead of the requested five (5). Which led to a discussion on what exactly a zoning board may allow. In the end, they opted to grant what was requested. I’m sure the Village Attorney would have been happy with the outcome, if not the route to get there.
And those are my Observations From Audience Land for the August 28th, 2017 meeting of the Honeoye Falls Zoning Board.
