Today (2017-05-16) there is an Election for the Honeoye Falls-Lima School District. District residents may vote at the High School Lobby, 83 East Street between 6AM and 9PM.
The 2017-2018 School Budget of $49,220,549 is up for a vote.
As is a proposal to spend up to $520,000 on school buses.
Finally, three (3) seats on the Board of Education are up as well. Three candidates are attempting to fill those seats: Amy West, Caralyn Ross, and Lawrence Young.
Assuming you care about how children are taught, take the time to read up on the budget information and then go vote. Might want to pickup chicken while you are there, and enjoy the artwork in the gym.
