There is an upcoming Election for the Village of Honeoye Falls on March 21, 2017 (2017-03-21). Village residents may vote at the Village Office, 5 East Street (next to the bridge) between Noon and 9PM.
Four positions are up for a vote: Mayor, Justice, and two Trustees. Each position is for a four year term.
Richard Milne is running for Mayor, Sheldon Boyce is running for Village Justice, James Alfieri and Shari Stottler are running for Trustees.
Four positions, four candidates.
No additional candidates may make for lower voter turn out. Which would make it even easier for a write-in candidate to win.
You’ve got a week, see if you can find someone that would do a better job and write their name on the ballot. Or decide the incumbents are good enough and vote for them. Or just stop in and thank the village staff for the work they do on our behalf. Or complain about how you could do their job better.
Either way, take part in your community.
